TATTING WITH FRIENDS, Book 5 of the Ribbonwinners Series, Edited by Georgia Seitz.
1998, revised 2000, Color Cover: copyright Georgia Seitz

This is a celebration of the work of 75 tatters who each contributed an item for this 1/2 inch (1.2 cm) thick comb bound volume. Most patterns have diagrams supplied by the donor and a written pattern, hints, instructions. Following the pattern entry is a short biography of the designer. There are some pages with techniques instruction, history, stories and even a bit of poetry. There's no theme, but most patterns with their instruction are on one or two pages and many are a bit unusual. Pages 146 -170 are devoted to a bibliography of tatting books, newsletters, periodicals. A great reference list!
