Thank you so much for the cute earring pattern :) I am anxious to give it a try!
Just found these on another craft site:http://www.craftsy.com/project/view/Little-Owl-Earrings/9674 and the link came back to 'in tatters'...they look so cute, thanks for sharing these.
I am just so pleased that so many of you like these little owls :)
so cute! i couldn;t resist and added them to my "xmas gifts for friends" list
These are adorable, thank you.
This is such a cute pattern. I haven't tatted in years, and this just might be the pattern that will get me back in it. Thank you so much!
I have only taken up tatting recently, and have not been much taken with tatted jewellery. But these little owls are just great - they're so sweet. Thank you so much.
One of these owls was the first thing i ever tatted. It was very easy and the finished product was addorable!
Isn't it great when it turns out just like you wanted. I mostly have trouble with second earrings... I can never get them to look like a pair without doing at least 4 or 5 to find two that look pretty much alike... so then there are these "orphans"..
I found a picture of them somewhere on net and made a pair for myself, full of mistakes for now I'm afraid but I'm still practicing. Ty for sharing (until now I was counting knots and picots from picture). I'll give it a try by reading a pattern. I'd love to make a pair as gift to my friend (she love owls and has one as a pet).
Kvarta, here is a link to a video on youtube that might help....http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mQyBBx9bC7k
Thanks to all who have made such nice comments about this pattern. I am so pleased!
Thank you so much. Since I'm mostly visual type this helps :D
I ran into a little snag, as I'm a needle tatter, I found it hard to do on a needle. but otherwise brilliant pattern :) it's great for the newbies ahem me to work on picot length :P
Just finished a couple of these this week and they came out really cute. Kind of surprised me that I had them looking like owls since I made them using a needle and they kept twisting so much.
Thanks so much for creating and sharing such a cute pattern!! Off to practice some more. Need to work on that twisting.
Cute as can be!!! Gonna try to make these for my daughter!
I've just happened across your pattern. Thank you for sharing. They're so cute. I know a few young girls who would love to have a pair of these.
I better get to tatting.
Thanks for the pattern. My cousin is in love with Owls so this will make a great gift!
