This is my medallion. It measures about 2.5inches picot to picot or almost 6.5 cm. though I will be tatting it in Lizbeth Lime Green Medium and sending it along. The test was done in black.
@gracet no need for another round - all of you so far have produced great centres :) I'll get addresses etc sent over to you all on the weekend, just waiting for a straggler to respond
Wow, @Coretta, that is a really fancy Round 1! A good challenge to whoever follows you...
My Round 1 is about the same size as Coretta's - 2.5 inches or 6.5 cm across at its widest point. I've used larger rings than Coretta.
Okay, Kersti, I'll stay with what I've already done. I'll look forward to the address list. I'll be returning to Singapore tomorrow; give me a few days to recover from jet lag and do a few errands...
Well, I have been kind of quiet because I came down with pneumonia. I have been sleeping a lot of hours and taking antibiotics and trying to behave myself. I have tried a few combinations, but they somehow lack "something". I will keep on trying and recording what I do.
I'm working on the center but not sure I like it yet. It's close though.
I'm back in Singapore - just landed this afternoon. Must be getting to bed soon...
I'm traveling too. It seems to be a good time for me to tat. :)
I'm thinking that those of us taking part in this can start a private group conversation, so that we can share the write-ups for our rounds. I'd rather send mine along electronically, than in a package. What do you all think?
Can anyone else follow along.... Though I'm not doing it (this time....) I find it fascinating and would like to watch everyone's progress.
I would love to watch every one also right now i have way to many things to do this
I'll continue to post pictures in this thread. I just thought that it would be premature to share our pattern instructions in this thread. That's why I wanted to have a conversation just among the participants. What do you all think?
@GraceT yes, I can get to the pattern conversation. Good start!
I agree @GraceT. We will post process pictures here but working patterns a private group effort. In the end when we have refined then we will share patterns publicly.
@kersti - Is there a way to make a photo album attached to this thread? I just had to dig back for a picture, and I'd love it if we could just click on a link at the top of the page, or something like that...
How about we set up a group for this? That way you can have threads on various topics and photo albums.
Groups are not private, but sharing rounds while working shouldn't be too much of a problem.
So is "Round Robin" - where we are already located - a group? I'm not sure how this works...
Yes, we were elsewhere but I set up a new group and moved this thread there
Okay, I have managed to share my Round Robin project and my Round 1 picture with the Round Robin group. I did it by going to my project or picture and clicking on the Share icon - hope you all will do the same.
@kersti - I had a couple of hiccups sharing my Round 1 picture with the group. I hit a bug when I tried to share the picture in my project. I succeeded when I shared the picture I had posted in this thread - but then I got an error when I tried to return to the thread. Anyway, I'm glad I did succeed.
