If you're using the decorative picots please pay attention to the diagram.
About a quarter of the round through (round 8) & I find it a bit on the tighter side. Have decided to add a stitch to the chains randomly.
Maybe my previous round(s) was a bit loose ....
I had the same problem with round 5... I wish I had increased the chains by making it 5-4-4-5.... I am debating on whether to redo it even though I was able to 'stretch' block it flat.
I'm going to try and wait this one out until we can see the last round. I want to finish it nicely, colourwise, and was thinking of making this round all blue, but then if the last round doesn't have any rings, I'm not sure I'd like the look of that. Not sure I'll manage to wait though.

Wise decision ! I took the plunge ... drew out my 2 colour options & asked my DH to choose. He went with traditional ;-P
@Fusspott ... so are Very quick :-)

Me too Ignes, can't wait to get started!
Round 9 is now available - this is the final round and as is typical it contains a lot more stitches than previous rounds. Beginners should not be worried, there's nothing here that you haven't done before!
Once completed don't forget to upload your images to your project page and mark your project completed - you'll then receive your Mystery 2015 reward badge.
As usual if you have any questions about the tatting or about using the site ask away!
Just a clue 6. I am still not very good finding my way around on Craftree. If it weren't for Facebook, I would never find the clue. Thank you so much. I Am really enjoying this.
Hi @skispinner if you go to the search menu on the left and click on patterns then type "mystery" into the search field you'll find the pattern detail page very quickly.
Very nice last round! Now I've decided to go for all blue for round 8, and then blue/green for the last round again. Time to get started! :D
Hi!
This will be my first serious attempt to tat. With the help of YouTube I have tested different things. So here I go...
Decided to give this a try - just starting today
@thunberg and @kbowman123 welcome to the fun! You'll see the schedule on the first post of when each row was sent out, if you like you can adhere to that, or you can just grab everything right now.
Whiee, I finished round 8. I had no cupping issues this round, probably because my blue thread is rather bulky compared to the green, so it left enough space. All primed to start round 9 tomorrow now, which will include green again :D

I love the different colours, it looks so much better than my plain white. Maybe I'll attempt two colours next time, is it difficult?
in reply to Fusspott's post:
Working with 2 colours is just as difficult/easy as 1, you only need to deal with more ends.
That's only for shuttle tatting though, I've no idea of the impact it has on needle tatting. Extra needle maybe?
