Just finished row 4, really enjoyed tatting it! Can not wait till Sunday!
Finished Round 4 - don't look too close, it's not blocked yet.
Sorry, I don't have time to join this particular TAL, but I am following everyone's posts. I just had to respond to heledd's query about how to use the thread left on the shuttle.
@heledd, even as a beginner, it's not too early to learn to bury your ends when you begin tatting. It's not difficult, and makes it very simple to begin any row with whatever is on your shuttle without having to rewind. There are a couple of ways to do this. Karen Cabrera has a method at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PdkRelkMqAA, using a floss threader. Another way, and my prefered method is here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HkQt-VFZYdo. You may find it a bit fiddely at first, but once you get the hang of it, it saves a lot of thread and winding time. If you have any queries, please let us know.
Phew, finished this latest round just in time. Now I'm ready for tomorrow! I made a counting mistake in this one, and didn't notice until a full repeat later. Uuuurgh. The thread I'm using isn't the greatest for going back either, took a long time, and it got suspiciously fluffy in places, but it held. Relief, haha.
Here it is so far:

Ooh I do like your colours! What's the thread?
in reply to kersti's post:
The green is Freccia by Anchor, and the blue/grey is Rico Essentials Crochet. They're both in the database and I've attached them to my project page :)
Finally got around to completing round 1- I am emptying shuttles with this project- but will have to wind a shuttle for the chain row, of course deciding on the colour is now the problem... ;) Great seeing what the next rounds look like, a pretty doily!
This round takes approx 3.25hrs and as such the next update will occur on Wednesday morning.
Don't forget to share your progress!

I am now halfway through & no cupping, though it is slightly more tight than previous round. Lying flat so far.
But, I just might add an extra ds randomly (to chains) ..... better a stitch in time ;-P
@Ignes your doily looks really nice -- like a flower about to open up completely !
After a mistake (wonky chain) I cut off rounds 2 and 3 and in the process clipped a joining picot from round 1. Oops! I started over yesterday and finished the first 3 rounds. I'll be working on rounds 4 & 5 today.
Its not burying the ends I mind- it's the know always catching as you tat which makes it even more likely to come undone that I hate.
As I said originally, the only patterns I have done have been ones that were CTM from start to finish- no cutting or tieing of ends until you finished. The pattern for the Tat-A-Long sometimes says to cut/tie ends but sometimes doesn't but when it doesn't it does seem as though you need to before being able to start the next round so I was a bit confused + frustrated with evil knots

Thanks for alerting me, I shall fix that!
in reply to muskaan's post:
@muskaan, Hmm, if it is a bit tight this round that might be my problem. The threads I'm using are of slightly different thickness. I've used them together before without issue, but only for small things. On this round, I decided to go with the green for the chains because I figured I'd like the look of that best. However, the green thread is marginally thinner than the blue. On an already tight round that might be what is causing me the trouble. So I guess I should cut this part off and swap the colours, go for an all blue round, or introduce a new colour of similar size. Choices choices! Any suggestions welcome :D

I figured it out. I just had to read the instructions a bit more carefully.
