WIP Wednesdays

Thanks. Grace. It's not the magic square per se, but the principal is quite similar in that it can grow or shrink to any proportions. Hm. That can also be applied to lots of other tatted patterns, so I'm now rethinking my original reactions to this pattern. I like it - the simplicity and multitudinous applications that spring mind.

I've got into a bad habit of posting one of my WIPs in my cross stitch project page because I think of that as my WIP Wednesday work. But I actually still knit socks on Wednesdays too. The cross stitch work is confined to mid day when the sun is handy and helpful. After an hour or so my eyes have had enough cross stitch. Then after supper the knitting comes out. My friend comes on Wednesdays so that I have to work on the cross stitch then, even if it's just to ask her advise concerning what went wrong that week!

@GraceT & @Lynn, This is a very ambitious and long term project. I plan on growing it into a shawl. I have a project page started with all the details. That piece you see is just longer than my full arm span. I don't know yet how wide it will be.
