This is a "tea?-cloth"? Tea at your home would not be a small intimate party. Seriously, I do love it. Its ever so much better than the photos to see "lacy" in person.
Okay! Well, it was a big day today! I finished the last of the 8 loops of 128 rings and chains, or 1024 for those playing the home game, plus the clover leafs that attach to the main cloth.
I also cut the triangles free of my previous attempt at row two and decided to start anew with the second row and though it was a bear to get started and I had to change a couple of things on the fly.
I started with the clover leaf under the triangle made of circular medallions, using R 3-3+3-3, R 3+3-3+3-3-3, R 3+3+3-3, as the clover leaf, attaching at the rings to either side of the clover leaf on the previous row, and to the underside of the previous row clover.
The chain off of it is Ch 3+3-3, followed by the first of our repeating pattern, a single ring of 5 picots, 3ds between. The only change to the previous row 2 of note after that is that the chain which was all 3ds between the five picots is now C 2-2-3-3-2-2 and has been working out gorgeously.
I will write out more in the morning, but now I am mentally done in, wrung out, and knackered. (Or insert the "worn out" phrase of your choice.)

You have an amazing amount of perseverance!!! Glad it's working out better for you. 
Sounds like you've done enough for one session. Go to your well deserved rest, knowing when you come back to it, it will be exactly as it should be. Well done! The end is within your reach.
I had a good night's sleep, that's all I really needed. I should probably iron things out, but we're at a point now that it has to travel compactly rolled in my bag, so I'd have to iron it every day. I'm now about to finish the first side of the first triangle. It feels like it's going faster than the first row, probably because it's less repetitive.
Still, I keep on working. I am so close, I'm looking at fabrics, though in the end it will likely be a solid color or possibly a sheer fabric to focus the attention on the main piece itself.

I haven't forgotten. I am just fidgety now that I am getting so close to the end. I am cruising easily on this final row, though I have to work back the last clover due to a mistake. It may actually go faster than I first expected, though with school this fall, I am still certain I will be finishing it next year.
And I am already thinking about my next project.
Here is where I am so far. I wanted to start at the base of a triangle so I would be sure of the counts. Everything worked out perfectly. I also worked on it for a but while my husband did his PhD defense. He passed so yay!
Oops, hit post too soon! Here is the pattern, I just passed the halfway point of the second loop so I am 3/16ths of the way down this row.
It is going really fast, and even feels faster than the previous row. Plus side, too is that I have the joins on the triangles figured out. I just have to figure out the inside point of the circle triangle, but after that, I can chug along. The it is off to get the cloth panels and then I will finish it with the 24 final motifs. I took a break from writing the pattern as I am also thinking of putting some of the comments from the thread in, which will require some fancy editing work, but I think it is important because I think of this as a Craftree family project.

@shindeco Thanks, he's been supporting the family and working on that for ten years. It's all my son and daughter have ever known. Now it's my turn. But from what I have been working out in my schedule, I've left time for tatting! I'll need it to keep my brain working, since I tat instead of fidgeting.
Your progress is coming right along! So good that you will be able to schedule time for tatting into your busy busy schedule... I'm a lot like you.... I fidget terribly if my mind & hands aren't kept busy!

Laughed about fidgeting. When these silly fidget spinners first came out, I laughed at them, then picked up my knitting. My philosophy - Never waste time fidgeting when your hands could be engaged in productive activity.

You gave me a nostalgic chuckle. When I son started his PHD work, I asked him why he wanted to go that far right now. He said I wanted the puffy hat! That hat has got him a prestigious position with Texas A&M, so no one is arguing with his reasons.
That's true. I didn't see anyone using the fidget spinners out in the "wild," but I have broken much ice when people see me tatting out in the world. Right now I'm figuring out what I'm going to tat during breaks at my new job. I'm looking at Elizabeth at least at first, given the very long onion ring spiral. I'm feeling a little more confident about onion rings, I think, given practice.
Quick job story. When I was 16, I got my first job scooping ice cream and making ice cream treats. Since then, I have always been the one on call to serve ice cream at family events. Through my travels, however, one by one, the little chain of stores closed until one remained, the one down the road from where I live now. It closed in December, but then, right as I was applying to jobs elsewhere, I heard that it was re-opening, and they needed workers desperately! I went for the interview as soon as I could and just heard today. This is a part time job that I really wanted, because I'm good at it, and I enjoy it. Plus it will give me some break time from the family and some extra cash in my pocket. My goal will be to keep this job until I have a better one.
I wonder if anyone has done an ice cream doily?
Congratulations to your husband and good luck with your upcoming endeavours! Fantastic progress on the tatting, I’m glad more tatting is in your schedule. I’m sure I’ve seen a tatted ice cream cone somewhere, not a doily though.

good luck on your new job endeavors, not that you'll need it because I'm sure you'll do great! And maybe even end up running the place! Maybe you could design a new "Ice cream" doily !
I have half an idea for one, but I am still working it out. Tatting is so versatile, you can make anything with it, practically.

Yeah, I hit that realization when I first saw a tatted Tardis...
Wow! Congrats @wodentoad, on getting another step closer to the end! 
And, congrats to your husband on passing his Ph.D. defence! I hope his puffy hat opens new doors for him - good ones.
