Those colors are very nice together. I bet it creates a stunning effect.

LOVE the Juicy Watermelon! That is going to make a stunning doily!

Lovely color combination Orange Juice. I used similar colorations, white and mocha brown.

Well, I'm almost 3/4 away around the last row. I've only used 7 rings in each scallop though instead of the pattern's stated 8. I didn't like the even number (makes it harder to pin out for blocking) and 9 made the scallops too large IMO. I think if I do this doily again, I will forgoe this last row in favor of something else...not sure what yet, but I just think this row doesn't "fit" well with the rest of the look now that I am doing it.

Wonderful! Congratulations & Beautifully done! I Love the outer scallops & did 9 rings in each scallop to make them even rounder..... I think it adds to the floral feel of the piece.
Now...... the question is...... what will be your next challenge!

Beautiful, mine is very very slowly coming along, I get fed up with it after a while and leave it and then do a bit more, it might get finished one day never.

Lovely! Carolivy, I really like your modification of the small motif between the snowflakes. Gives more of a lattice feel.

:sigh: cutting my losses and stopping after Row 5. My threads weren't the same size and I can't seem to compensate evenly. I'll work my way back to trying again a month or so.

Sonja you did this Twice?? once with the "zipper" rows in green and white and once with red and white? I like the green best. Is this using the Christmas colors?

All right I'm finally taking the plunge and starting... 15 months or so late. You have so many interesting color combos... what to do... I'm intrigued by Monedido's watermelon flowers... might try something like that..

I started with I think 107 lizbeth, 3 rows. Then I used DMC for row 4 in 2 colours pink. But when I made the flowers it was not oke with that. And I cut away the flowers and started again with 1,2,3 and made row 4 with light and middle green lizbeth. And then the flowers were oke in row 5. Then I made row 6,7,8,9 and waas almost finished. And then I saw I made a unforgivable mistake. So I cut away row 6,7,8,9 and started again with row 6. But I was so disappointed, That I decided to start a doily from Jan Stavasz. When that one is finished, I will go on with the Renulek doily, I promise. So in total I made it twice, when I'm finished. The first 4 rows are a very beautiful doily and I wont finish that one. The problem was the DMC thread in row 4. Long story, lot of work.

I finished mine too until I noticed that I dropped to join one of the element in row 6 then dropped also another location in row 7, and....I am really not done as is. I am trying to figure out where and how to cut it on row 7 to join to the one element in row 6 then cut that other place to join row 7 to row 8. then I need to figure out how far I need to fix row 9. I figure row 8 is the easiest, maybe I can just cut that row off to redo. what do you think?
