Adapted from row 3 of the cobweb doily. Tip: Make all joining picots as small as possible, especially on the chains.

Continue making thrown ring segments to the desired length, (I chose 5 segments,) and work the second end of the bookmark in the same way as the first, then back down the side to your starting point. No new thrown rings are created after working the second end of the bookmark.
