Bookmark with sewing thread

I started making this bookmark, with sewing thread. It is not the best quality of thread. But I don't really have access to other thin threads, here in the Dominican Republic. So this is just for fun, to see how it would come out in a thread this thin. Because I love the delicate look of the thinner thread.

I am surprised that it is not even that much harder to work with! :) I guess since the shuttle does most of the work, it doesn't really matter what size of thread is on it. But I have to say, I didn't have to undo any mistakes yet.. I could imagine that would be a lot harder to do with this thread.
