T-Shirt Collar

10/17/22-Added the elastic to the collar row. It’s still a bit loose, but it has to fit over my big ol’ head. So it’s done!
8/6/22-Finally got around to completing the last hem. So glad to be done sewing! I thought this would be done now….but it’s a bit too loose at the collar. Maybe an elastic band to tighten it up?
6/13/22- Finished retatting, now I just have to hem the collar of the shirt down. But first, houseguests are coming, so it will be put away again for a bit.

The tatting was actually done in a month way back in 2019, But I was not happy with how row 2 turned out. It needs to have smaller joining picots, and the clover rings have gotten twisty because they’re too loose. Out come the scissors!

In the redo, I’m tatting out most of the decorative picots on rows 1&2. Since this is going on clothing, less picots will mean less to block into submission each time it gets laundered.

Also changing the chains on row 1 so they are more connected.
