Craftree celebrated the first birthday of our new website and the art of Tatting (and other crafts too) by honouring the crafters from around the web who inspired us throughout 2014-2015. There are so many wonderful individuals who work hard to create exciting projects that we all find inspiring. The following winners were nominated by our members and selected by public vote.
This award is open to any tatting project listed on Craftree which includes a photograph showing the finished item used in a creative way. The project must be completed 2014-2015.
Winner - Bolero jacket by kpavlyna
This award is open to our members who started tatting in 2013 or later. They must have a completed project page on Craftree which includes a photograph of an item which they have finished during 2014-2015.
Winner - Flower bookmark by jjkids17
This award is for the best completed tatting project. The project must be listed on Craftree with an image showing the finished work. Project must be completed 2014-2015. This award can include small as well as large projects, beginners or seasoned tatters.
Winner - Jan Stawazs Big Doily by swissgirl
This award is open to any project listed on Craftree with a photograph showing the final item and completed during the years 2014-2015 that is marked as an adaptation of a pattern.
Winner - Baby booties by jyotika
Best project made using a pattern that is listed in the Craftree database as jewellery (earrings, necklaces, pendants etc)
Project must contain an image of the finished product and must have been completed between 2014-2015
Winner - Waves Earrings; Corina Meyfeldt by Claire-de-lune
This award is for the best project made using a pattern that is listed in the Craftree database as doily. The project must contain an image of the finished product and must have been completed between 2014-2015
Winner - Ben Fikkert Corona Doily by Fox
This award is open to any pattern available to download for free and first published 2014-2015 that is listed on Craftree. Pattern listing must contain an image.
Winner - Design Tutorial Snowflake by Robin Perfetti
This award is open to any pattern available for purchase in any medium, and first published 2014-2015 that is listed on Craftree. Pattern listing must contain an image.
Winner - Irada by Emelie Zakh
This award is open to any book containing tatting and published 2014-2015 with a listing included on Craftree. Cover image must be included. Patterns from the book do not need to be fully catalogued, but it does help with gaining votes!
Winner - Marilee's Beaded Tatting Finery by Marilee Rockley
Open to any designer who has a pattern listed in the Craftree database that is marked as first published in 2014-2015. Designer does not have to be a member, although that certainly is lovely if they are!
Winner - Corina Meyfeldt
This award is open to any website listed in the Craftree library that is freely accessible and includes a blog which must have a tatting related post added during 2015.

Winner - Entre lanzaderas by Karen Cabrera
This award is open to tatting artisans - those who sell finished tatted items. The artisan must have a website listed in the Craftree Library that is currently selling finished tatted items.
Winner - Frivolite Lilas Lace by Corinne Joublot
Open to any thread brand that is listed in the Craftree materials database. You can nominate any size or colourway you like - we will aggregate up to brand level. So for example if Anchor Artiste sizes 10 and 20 are both nominated by enough people we would shortlist "Anchor Artiste"
Winner - Lizbeth
This award is open to any tatting related tutorial. The tutorial must be listed in the Craftree tutorials database with an image. Must be first published 2014-2015 and can be in any format - video, pictorial, descriptive.
Winner - Ninetta's Curled Rings by Muskaan
This award is for the best completed project that is not tatting. The project must be listed on Craftree with an image showing the finished work. Project must be completed 2014-2015. This award can include small as well as large projects, beginners or seasoned crafters.
