@muskaan, good luck!
I created a project here in Craftree for my Renulek WIOSNA Spring 2014 doily. It will be my WIP Wednesday project until finished, I think. I started it in November. I'm pleased to report 3 more scallops were added in the next to last round. My 1st full-size Renulek Doily
Oops! Yesterday was indeed Wednesday. In the whirl wind of my day, I forgot about WIP Wednesday . No progress on the cross stitch piece, but am happy to report that I did get in 2 rings and 2 chains on a test piece for my tatted shawl
I've been on the fence about joining this one, but for no good reason. I have WIPs... But I'd like to give a slightly different spin on it. I've been focusing lately on moving along with my shawl project, trying to tat 1 motif every day. I succeed most days, hooray! But it's getting a bit of a drag, and I'm pondering other things to tat that I never get round to, because by the time I finish the motif I generally stop tatting. So I want to make Wednesday my official 'no motif, if you want to tat, tat something else' day. Fingers crossed!
Yesterday was busy and so I didn't get much done. I had planned on working on my turtle rug some more but as it turns out we had some sunshine so I ended up outside and did about 1 row of a pair of socks that I've been working on forever.

That's a great idea Ignes - it certainly goes along with the kick start your crafting philosophy!
in reply to Elfiona's post:
Haha, I might be further along than you, I started over a year ago... It's this project: Forever shawl
I've looked through your projects but I guess you haven't listed your tatted shawl project yet. You should! That way you can get encouragement when needed. These big things are quite the undertaking... Tatting in rows sounds interesting! Today I'm planning to finish the 150th motif of type A, and it's just that I want some variation, and a way to get round to other ideas, so the shawl doesn't become the anchor that keeps me from trying new things.
I forgot WIP Wednesday this week! I am off to do a bit of stitching now. And I have been tatting my model for the Round Robin during bus journeys...
Who's WIP Wednesdaying this week? What are you working on today?
I've hesitated to post, because for me it's always socks. There's always a sock or two under construction these days. There are other things going on, like my snowflake project, so I guess I have two different kinds of WIPs. And I don't just work on them on Wednesdays. I work on them every chance I get. Just about to wind up computer time for the evening and go back to the socks.
I have to run errands and finish an on line course, but hopefully my day will include another look at the cake doily.
Well, I got a few more repeats done on my tatted shawl project and I have finished round four of my three Renulek 2016 Spring Doily. And I made a mistake in the ending of the third one, which I will now get to go back and correct. That's what I get for pushing on to finish something when I'm tired. Things are very busy at church for me right now, so I won't be able to take pictures until this weekend.
Oh, and I did the stiffening on a bookmark, pair of earrings and a tatted Christmas wreath.
I've felt some pressure to make progress on round 4 of the latest Renulek doily and it was easier to work on that smaller piece with the baby around today than on the larger 2014 one. Perhaps before the day is over, I'll have put a few double stitches on it as well. I'm looking forward to at least an hour of tatting before bed tonight.
Wow, you all have done well! I did make some progress on the Round Robin doily today - I was tatting on the bus...
I've done nothing............
@IdahoCanuck Same here Not even a little bit of progress. Maybe next week
I managed to complete round 4 as planned on the latest Renulek doily and added one more arch to the 2014 one.
@jmjtat I know what you mean....I was so gung-ho to get started.... What a wonderful idea to get things finally finished up. So I planned lots of free time while on vacation.... Took my projects with me..... Then nothing ..... All my plans were derailed and I spent my vacation doing yardwork! It's been over 3 weeks, and nothing accomplished! No tatting either! It's like life just doesn't want me to get anything finished....
So I tried to tat this evening.... Got everything ready.... Comfortable in my seat with shuttles in hand.... Then it happens again.... One interuption after another and no way to concentrate..... I'm about to give in.
Aww, @IdahoCanuck, don't give in! If there's one thing I learned from tatting, it's that perseverance has its reward!
Today I actually took up the Advanced Mystery cake doily again. It is really a simple pattern, but I've managed to make it hard. Isn't that the meaning of Advanced? Picture will be posted to project progress update.
