Thanks for diagramming the path @muskaan. I hadn’t realized that the inner ring (#22 in the photo) would also be a split ring. That’s where I was getting tripped up.

Thanks @muskaan. It is remarkable that at the core of each square is one of the simplest edgings... a classic, used over and over and now, rediscovered in a magic square! What's old is new again. Your different orders of working the blocks -- shown in different colors, .. well, it got me thinking about options if one wanted different blocks in different colors... like the marvelous tablecloth. So, there's more to discover.

Thanks for the diagram, @muskaan! It is indeed a good puzzle that you have worked out for us.

It's a great display.. I hope the text panels describe the purpose and involvement. I was surprised b y the addition of beads between squares. It has a ver y nice effect in that space. Do you know any details... How long will it be there?
Is it transportable to other locations?... if we had other cities interested?

Cathy de Greef sent me an e-mail about it. She said the exhibition would be up until 16 August. So it has already been taken down.

She also provided two links with more photos:

She hoping to display the whole inother parts of europe. To be honest the photos do not do it justice. Seeing was a real plessure out of the 5219 squares i found 3. Cathy made three and cant find hers my husband and were in brussels for foyr days and really enjoyed every minute. For us it was just a hop over the englush channel flight time 1 hour.
If and when i hear anything new i will let you know
