Ooooo.., very pretty madhur! I love your green snowflakes. It's all coming together quite nicely Ü
Thanks a ton Maria. But I truely wanted to do it the way you have used the colors on your doily.
Oh - Madhur - it does look stunning....I am lurking around this subject and enjoying how well all of the variants are coming together whilst I am contemplateing jumping in, but for me this probably will not be before next year as I am trying to sort out my thread supply for such big job....
It's finally done! I wonder if there are more rounds to the doily....

Wonderful! There is suppose to be, but she posted that it might be awhile as she has other things that need done.
Madhur your choice of colors is stunning.
All the doilies are looking great and tempting me sorely to join in.
Very pretty, Madhur. If there is another round, will you stay with the same colors or introduce another color or two?
All the doilies are looking great and tempting me sorely to join in.
Thanks...but these were the colors that Maria had chosen. i simply copied the colors.
Janet, I might have to use other colors as well as not much thread in these colors is left in my collection. Incidentally I have a very very large collection. Some day soon I shall upoload pics of my threads and shuttles.
I know this is a silly question but would someone tell me where I should start at on row 2 ?? I have been wanting to give this one a try,
I see pics of those who are tatting this doily and I love all the colors everyone is using and it really makes me want to tat one too.
Hi Chessie, I do hope you join in.... the more the merrier! I would love to see what colors you choose.
I started with one of the rings.... I think it was one of the outer ones.... or maybe an inner one..... I don't remember! But it really doesn't matter which one you choose, just pick one and start right in.
I am almost done with row 2 going to start on row 3 soon.
Beautiful Mary
I have now christmas is over gone back to the mat, I did not like the way the second round was looking so I cut it off and here is round two and three, now onto round 4, in between the Mayan challenge.

I would like to do this pattern just through row 4, but I have a hard time following just diagrams. Im so jealous because you have all done an amazing job!
Mad cricket, if your can't follow a diagram how about writing the pattern out and then tatting it, if I have have trouble following a pattern I try and write it down and then tat it, it does work because your mind remembers it better.
It's lovely Mary! Margaret, your colors are working up beautifully! Every one is doing such a wonderful job...What a lovely display of doilies we will have when finished!
Mad Cricket... Margaret has a great suggestion and I do hope you give it a try & join in.
I am anxiously waiting for the next round Ü
Do you really think she will add another round? It's so beautiful and she has not added anything for a long time now.
Thank you for the suggestion, I have tried that in the past and I may have to try it again, that doily is so lovely
